𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐡:𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗰𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗨𝘀 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲It wasn’t just a visit, it was a reminder that touched the heart. Standing among the graves, surrounded by silence, each of us felt the weight of life’s reality and the nearness of the Hereafter. What began as a simple gathering became a moment of deep reflection and renewal of faith. As the Prophet ﷺ said:𝑉𝑖𝑠𝑖𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑔𝑟𝑎𝑣𝑒𝑠, 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑦 𝑟𝑒𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑑 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝐻𝑒𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑓𝑡𝑒𝑟.(Sahih Muslim, 976)And in another narration:“𝘐 𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘣𝘪𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘰 𝘷𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘴, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘷𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮, 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘴𝘰𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵, 𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘺𝘦𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘏𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳.”(Sunan Ibn Majah, 1571)During our visit, Allah granted us the opportunity to witness a Muslim burial. It served as a powerful reminder of the reality that awaits us all, and of the importance of preparing for what truly matters, our meeting with Allah SWT.We also reflected on the du’a recited when visiting the graves, focusing on its words and what they truly mean. For the younger ones, a simple activity carried a deep message, each child was given an ice block, watching it melt away. Just like that melting ice, our lives too are slipping away, moment by moment. It is a powerful reminder that our time is limited, and every day is an opportunity to draw closer to Allah SWT.We also asked everyone to imagine writing a letter in their death bed or old age to their younger self, and thinking deeply what advice would we give to ourselves? Many reflected on how easily we get distracted, and how much we need to refocus on our purpose: to strengthen our connection with Allah SWT and follow the path of our beloved Prophet ﷺ.May Allah make our hearts firm upon His remembrance, grant us sincerity in action, and guide us to live with purpose and sincerity.#iCAN #icandawah #YMNA #Perth #IslamicCircle #graveyard #CommunityGathering #BrotherhoodInFaith #AustraliaMuslims ... 📢 Dawah Training Session Update 🌙Alhamdulillah, this morning we had a very beneficial Dawah Training Session designed specifically for our Dawah Team. Brothers and young kids attended the session and learnt how to engage non-Muslims effectively using the GO-RAP technique — a step-by-step method to explain Islam clearly and respectfully:G – God’s ExistenceO – Oneness of GodR – RevelationA – AfterlifeP – ProphethoodIt was inspiring to see the enthusiasm and participation from everyone, especially our young brothers eager to share the message of Islam with confidence. May Allah accept everyone’s efforts and make us effective ambassadors of His deen. 🤲#iCAN #icandawah #Dawah #DawahTraining #GORAP #GainPeace #SharingIslam #YouthInAction ... See MoreSee Less
